Binh Duong poured the highest capital ever for traffic projects

TPO – On February 7, the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province informed that the province’s total public investment plan in 2023 was 21,817 billion VND. This is the highest amount of public investment allocated ever.

 

Most of the capital plan in 2023 is extracted from the provincial budget, amounting to VND 18,675 billion, 2.17 times higher than the public investment capital allocation plan arranged by Binh Duong province in 2022.

With a huge amount of investment capital, in 2023, Binh Duong will mobilize resources and promote investment in regional infrastructure projects such as Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4 (HCMC) passing through Binh Duong. In addition, there will be 99 more major traffic projects invested by Binh Duong in the new year with a total cost of up to VND 12,819 billion (58.8% of the total capital plan in 2023). Thus, in 2023, Binh Duong will allocate capital for 103 traffic and infrastructure projects out of a total of 311 public investment projects.

In addition to the transport projects invested by the province, the districts, towns and cities under Binh Duong province will have 25 projects to be started. Accordingly, Di An city will start many projects with the provincial budget, including: Upgrading and expanding To Vinh Dien street; upgrading and expanding D5 – D8 road, An Binh ward; Northeast Ring Road 2; April 30th road upgrade and expansion.

Thuan An city has 7 projects, of which 2 projects using the provincial budget are renovating and upgrading Bui Thi Xuan street (section from My Phuoc – Tan Van road to Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen town); building a new drainage system downstream of Le Thi Trung street, Binh Chuan ward. The remaining 5 projects use the city’s budget.

Tan Uyen town has a project using the provincial budget to upgrade and expand the U.402 road, Tan Phuoc Khanh ward. 7 other projects under the local budget.

Bau Bang and Dau Tieng districts each have 1 project using the provincial budget, respectively, to upgrade and expand DH.610 road (Bau Bang); upgrading and expanding DT.744 road (section from Km24+460 to Cau Cat intersection) in Dau Tieng district. In addition, in Bac Tan Uyen district, there are 4 projects funded entirely by the local budget.

Previously, at the end of December 2022, Binh Duong started the project of upgrading and expanding DT.746 road, the section from Tan Thanh junction (Bac Tan Uyen district) to Hoi Nghia junction (Tan Uyen town). The project is invested by Binh Duong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a cost of nearly 1,500 billion VND.

Currently, Binh Duong is making efforts to accelerate the implementation of the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City. The project has a total length of 76.34 km, passing through Ho Chi Minh City and 3 provinces of Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An. In which the section passing through Binh Duong is about 26.6km long, including component project 5: Construction of Ring Road 3 sections through Binh Duong province (including Tan Van intersection and Binh Goi bridge) and component project 6: Compensation Normally, support resettlement of Ring Road 3 section through Binh Duong province. Total investment is about 19,280 billion VND, of which construction project is 5,752 billion VND and compensation and resettlement support project is 13,528 billion VND. The total land acquisition area is about 85.86 hectares with about 1,600 households and organizations affected. The project is expected to be basically completed in 2025 and put into operation from 2026.
