To develop the digital economy, Binh Duong needs to focus on developing digital economic institutions; digital infrastructure and digital human resources.<\/span><\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen – Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Duong province about the current state of digital economy and digital society in the area at the scientific conference with the topic: “Digital economic and digital society development In the context of industrialization and modernization of Binh Duong province”, Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen said, the entire Binh Duong province has 68,000 enterprises, including 7,000 information technology enterprises; The average proportion of e-commerce is 8%; fields with digital transformation breakthroughs such as: Processing and manufacturing industry; textile; logistics; logistics; agriculture; tourism. Currently, Binh Duong ranks 14th in the country and 2nd in the Southeast region in terms of digital economic development. In addition, Binh Duong has formed 15 large-scale logistics centers, including 3 dry ports and 1 international railway station serving import and export of goods; establishing 10 river ports, 21 warehouses, 19 bonded warehouses, 2 active CFS warehouses (consolidation points) to serve production activities in industrial zones and clusters and perform goods distribution functions to provinces and cities in the region and exported.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding digital society, Binh Duong currently has 1.76 million people who have activated level 2 electronic identity accounts and 92% of the adult population has smartphones; 83.6% of households have broadband Internet coverage; There are 4,500 members participating in community digital technology groups…<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen also said that in the coming time, the province will strengthen and promote comprehensive digital transformation in industrial zones, clusters and factories. At the same time, prioritize the development of a number of industries such as: Wood processing; seaport automation; logistics; logistics; logistics… to reduce at least 50% of all costs and improve the quality of logistics activities. Prioritize the development and attraction of investment in fields such as: Electronics, semiconductor chips; artificial intelligence; safety, network security…<\/span><\/p>\n

After the successes of digital transformation, Binh Duong also faces many difficulties in the process of developing the digital economy and digital society in the context of industrialization and modernization.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat – Member of the Central Theoretical Council said that the proportion of Binh Duong’s digital economic development is only about 8%, which is low. Binh Duong does not have a specialized industrial park, no product chain or industry cluster. Infrastructure projects connecting the Region are still in the stage of completion. Service development is not commensurate with industry and urban areas. The province’s digital economic development goal is at a very challenging level.<\/span><\/p>\n

To develop further, Binh Duong does not simply attract foreign direct investment, but requires growth based on innovation, scientific and technological progress, and economic growth. “digital” and “green” to overcome the middle income trap.<\/span><\/p>\n

Colonel, Professor, Dr. Bui Minh Thanh – Institute of Non-Traditional Security pointed out that the “key” to digital economic development in Binh Duong is the lack of digital human resources, especially renewable energy human resources, E-commerce, tourism, digital industry, and high-tech agriculture are huge. Binh Duong province needs to have priority policies to attract high-quality human resources in the field of digital economy. In particular, Binh Duong needs to synchronously implement solutions, focusing on ensuring the security of three pillars: Digital economic institutions; digital infrastructure and digital human resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also according to experts, to develop digital infrastructure, Binh Duong needs to invest in building electronic industrial parks, electronic assembly, and data centers; comprehensive digital transformation of industrial zones, clusters and factories to bring revenue growth from 5-25%.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, it is necessary to establish a Digital Transformation Support Center for businesses; interested in investing in digital platforms instead of investing in information technology applications.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding digital society, Binh Duong needs to pilot 100% online public services; 100% of electronic school records and electronic health books use digital signatures; coordinate with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to pilot the electronic labor contract platform so that 100% of labor contracts are signed digitally.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
